Philippa Gregory's The White Queen: 13 part BBC series

I am looking to reading more about the upcoming BBC adaptation of Philippa Gregory's The White Queen, a historical novel about Elizabeth Woodville, consort of Edward VI.

One would assume that the series would be bought by PBS or BBC America, but it looks like the series will be shown on Starz, a premium cable channel.  I would hazard a guess and say that Starz is one of the producers.
