I wonder what they will do for Anhalt if they will put Prince Eduard as head or say it is extinct in the male line, as I have only seen the 1955 GHdA Furstliche Hauser entry for Anhalt where they say the head of the house is Eduard's uncle, Prince Eugen. I don't know if they changed this stance in later editions.
ReplyDeleteAnhalt has not appeared since the 1961 edition. In 1955, Eduard's father, Friedrich, was the duke of Anhalt, having their father, Joachim Ernst. It will be interesting to see if Eduard is recognized as head - and he is the last male - or if the family is declared erschlossen.
